South African Council of Churches says hands off Bushiri

The National Council of Churches (NCC) has pledged their loyalty to Prophet Shepherd Bushiri ahead of his appearance before Court on the 29th of November 2019.

The National Council of Churches (NCC) has pledged their loyalty to Prophet Shepherd Bushiri ahead of his appearance before Court on the 29th of November 2019.

“We appeal to all churches to support one of our own, Major 1”, they said in a statement issued on behalf of Dr Prophet Hlobo, the national president of the NCC.

The NCC, in the statement issued on the 21 of November 2019 appealed to the court to dismiss all the charges against Major 1 as they believe that they are materially and factually flawed.

“We regard this as a persecution to our mission more than it is to Major 1 because of his unwavering conviction to the mission itself,” The statement read.

The council rejected with utmost disgust and chastisement at the charges of malice against one of the “… standing figures of our time in the mission.”

NATIONAL COUNCIL OF CHURCHES SAYS HANDS OFF MAJOR 1:

Prophet Bushiri will appear before Court on the 29 November 2019. We appeal to all churches to support one of our own, Major 1.

The NCC appeals to the court to dismiss all the charges against Major 1. since they are materially and factually flawed.

We regard this as a persecution to our mission more than it is to the Major 1 because of his unwavering conviction to the mission itself.

Let the generation of our mission, a mission of enlightenment, reject with utmost disgust and chastisement, this charges of malice against one of the standing figure of our time in the mission.
