Mpumalanga born music legend Sipho Makhabane set the stage on fire at the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church during a live Sunday service when he did a medley of his most popular songs; dedicating the last two to Prophet Shepherd Bushiri earliar today in Pretoria.

Major1 introduced him as someone he has known for a long time through his music, “I used to listen to “over and over” while we still used TDKs, ” he said.

Bushiri said, smilingly before giving Sipho the Mic, “You are such a legend”

Sipho raised the bar of worship, before giving back the mic to Major1 who then appreciated him and said Sipho is a consistent legend, “One thing I know about this man is his consistency in the Lord”.

The gospel music maestro, who sprung to fame with the hit song “ngitinikela kuwe” has since mentioned that he will retire soon from music to focus on grooming young talent. Sechaba, the late Lundi and Hlengiwe were all groomed by this famous musician.
