His journey started with Jomo Cosmos. He is now an Orlando Pirates player, currently on loan at Golden Arrows for this season.

Gladwin Shitolo took the man of the match award in a very difficult match against  Cape Town City FC after getting his last award 4 years ago.

Shitolo started following Prophet Shepherd Bushiri  in 2015 and says he is always at church for services, except when he is in the football field.

The young soccer player, speaking to ECG news, said the zeal he has for the Lord and the passion of always wanting to be in the house of the Lord comes from the teachings he receives from Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his sons and daughters.

“I am most grateful for the teachings that my Father, Major 1 and his sons and daughters give me. They built me to where I am right now. They have taught me how to carry myself as a child of God, and mostly to seek God’s face even when I am in Camp. The prayers are what I base on. All these achievements come from God of Major 1,” he said.

Shitolo said he is also grateful to Apostle Tshiamo Motsepe, son of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and the resident Pastor of ECG Durban for declaring life and success in his career. He says after these powerful declarations spoken upon his life, he got the man of the match award and has seen radical change in his career.

His advice to any youth trusting God for a breakthrough in their lives is that they should  believe in God and not people and to believe in God’s prophets so that they can be successful. He also urges the youth to hold on to God as He is the one who gives talents, “God is the giver and the taker as well. Not thanking him for what he bestowed on us is the highest level of ungratefulness. Talent without God is nothing,” Shitolo said.
