I started composing music at an age of 12 with my brother Jarzin Collen as the producer. Jarzin helped me to discover the gift in me and the divine purpose and destiny. Got a record label in 2014 under Unique Records by (HoffMeyer Madzinga). After a fruitful journey, I became independent in 2017. In the same year, I met Victor Enlisted and produced inspirational/Gospel tracks up to date.
Delivered on Earth as Gerald Collen on the 20th of June 1994 and born in Zimbabwe. His music journey began in primary school. He went on to do his secondary and advanced level at Victoria High where. He further learnt to understand music language and compose melodies with Mr Mudzamiri. Furthered his studies at Harare Institute of technology and managed to scoop a degree in Food Processing Technology. Now based in Pretoria and as ambitious as he is; he is adding that youth feel to the gospel music and young soldiers of Christ vibe and understand his vision as he fuses the gospel of Christ with urban RnB feel mixed with melodic raps!
He is a natural musician and believes as a vessel of honor and a channel of God’s peace he is definitely going to be the most celebrated gospel artist of his generation!
So far he has released two singles in 2020 titled “I am Yours” and “Weapon”. The “I am Yours” single got Gerald Collen called up to perform on a Youth program ECG Pretoria (main branch) as a Youth magnet and most youngsters celebrated his heart warming single.
Later released “weapon” which speaks about (Isaiah 54:17) reminding and encouraging the youths and church at large that they are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus as no weapon formed against them shall prosper. You can stream the singles on the platforms below.
