ECG Witbank drove for four hours to the Youth Festival in ECG Pretoria thinking they were going for an ordinary youth service but they were met with two suprises.
Their leader, Mohao Kwena said his team were pleasantly surprised to see many games and activities begging them to participate.
“We were even more surprised that the games are for free. Apparently a good Samaritan paid for all the games for all to enjoy as they pleased.” Said Kwena
Another Witbank youngster, Samkelo Mavado said “I’m happy that there are so many things to explore and we get the chance to interact with others as we play and compete With them.
The 77 youngsters who came by bus agreed that waking up early and bussing to Pretoria was worth it as besides games there will even be a teaching from Prophet Bushiri.
Their leader Kwena said they were well received, other Youth Magnets from other branches took selfies with them and informed them on the festivities that lay ahead.
The youth leadership have confirmed with ECG News online that there are over 500 branches present.
